I wrote about acceptance and moving on in my previous post about "Ending A Relationship Things You Need to Know About the 5 Stages of Grief" here on my blog.I decided to talk about the last stage of grief again since one of my friend requested me to write something about resetting one's life to achieve personal happiness.He wanted people to know that moving on is not easy and he chose me as a medium in doing so. I know it will be very timely since Valentines Day is fast approaching and I also know that I may sound a little bitter because I am emphasizing about break ups. But who wouldn't relate with this devastating natural occurence?

Broken hearts are more painful than any kind of physical pain. It hits hard and it takes so long to fade away. It creates a never ending excruciating pain that could numb your senses. It could even make you blind,making it very difficult for you to see the future anymore. We've all been there. We loved,we gave our trust then we were betrayed. It can't be helped nor can it be predicted.

Humans are vulnerable to pain because of being too emotional and for being weak when it comes to the people that they love.

Love is mesmerizing & intoxicating but on the contrary it is also soul crushing and heartbreaking.
Why are we sacrificing ourselves to someone or something that might actually destroy us?

According to Greek Mythology as narrated by the great philosopher Plato based on Aristophanes story,humans are naturally created as beings with four arms,four legs and a head with two faces. The humans were very happy and contented with their lives. Maybe because of this,it gave them enormous power and strength. It made the gods very furious with envy because they might be taken over by them.

The power possessed by the humans is a great threat to Zeus so he decided to split the humans into half.

Zeus condemned humans to spend their whole lives to go on a never ending search for their other half or "soulmate."

This is a wonderful myth about love and being lost. It describes the yearning of our hearts to love and to be loved. We are born to look for our other half and to make us complete again. We are always on a search to find someone who could eradicate our melancholy and to make our lives meaningful.

The idea of being in loved could let us escape from our loneliness and suffering. Since we are always longing for our other half.Finding that "soulmate" could make us whole,again as what Plato emphasized in his symposium.

Finding someone who could complete us is like finding a needle in a haystack. It can take a long time and it could inflict too much pain & suffering along the way

In life we would meet a lot of people who could either reciprocate our feelings or would teach us a lesson. If you're lucky in finding your soulmate then heaven is on your side but if not then you will be trapped on a never ending cycle of love and heartaches or of settling down or moving on.

But what if this relationship that you're trying to fight did not work out? Are you ready to start again & move on?

Admit That Sometimes Beautiful Things Just End

You already did your best. You already compromised and gave a shot on working everything out but the both of you are just not fit for each other. Love should be a two way street but during the whole duration of the relationship you realized that you were the only one who was fighting for what you believed was a relationship meant for "two". The more you stayed,the more you realized that the both of you are not healthy for each other anymore.

Give Importance to your self-worth

You deserve all the love in the world! By doing so,you need to let go of things or people that would drain you out emotionally and psychologically.If you think that you are no longer happy then quit and pack your bags. You are not worthy to be taken for granted or neglected. Finding that someone for you meant that the presence of that person is enough for you and that there is fulfillment on it. But if you are treated unfairly do not mistake love & commitment as means to justify on the loopholes of your relationship.

Establish a positive mindset. Someone out there is definitely meant for you & you will then realize why it never worked out with anybody else.

During and after a break up might be the worst days of your life. You might lose hope and give up on love and even lose your confidence on life. But always remember that you haven't seen the silver lining yet. You might grieve and bawl your eyes out because of the pain you feel after being rejected but it's still too early to predict the ending of your life story. Someone out there might be waiting for you and that someone could help you fix your broken pieces.

To be completely happy with life,you need to prepare yourself to cope up with a lot of disappointments. But what you need to do is to turn these disappointments into chances and you will never be left out in life.
