I agree that it's absolutely crazy that children at 5 years of age are given ADHD medicine because they are to wild and unhandable.... What I find even more mindboggling is that if you, as a parent, refuse to let them poison your childs inmatured brain with these chemicals like Ritalin, your child will not be accepted in class. In Holland, where I luckily don't live anymore, the parents can be penalized sentenced to jail time even for ubstruction of the right to education.... So you have to let your child be drugged, or go to jail yourself !
