THE POWER OF HABBIT

Seeing the rate at which people being victims to their habbits, I see it necessary to uncover what habbit entails and a possible solution to emulate a good habbit which can facilitate success in all ramifications.
But before we proceed, let's understand what habbit implies first.

Habbit can defined as a recurrent, often unconscious pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition. In other words, it is an established disposition of the mind or character: a pessimistic habit. c. Customary manner or practice: an early riser by habit.

From the above definition of habbit, we understand that for habbit to be formed, few things must be put into consideration; constant repetition and frequent recurrent of certain behaviour, lifestyle or attitude, with that, it simple implies that habbit doesn't just come to you by chance, but it comes as a result of your constant repetition and frequent recurrent character by you conciously and unconciously.

Habbit is obsessive and addictive, the moments you master it, you can hardly do without it thereby becoming and contributing to your personality, thus, the reason you must adopt a positive attitude, character which inturns forms a good habbit.

So many people are seriously suffering from the consequence of a bad habbit they have indulged in long ago, but is it that easy to get rid of a habbit?

Well, habbit unlike addiction is one of the most difficult thing to get rid of because it works with your subconcious mind and your blood, and anything that has to do with your subconcious mind, it takes dedication and sacrifice to overcome it.

To overcome any habbit, you must follow the rules;

AS IT TAKES LONGER TO MASTER A CERTAIN HABBIT, SO DOES IT TAKES LONGER TO DESTROY SUCH A HABBIT

This happens because mastering any habbit emanates from the subconcious mind and it must also be schooled to let go of such habbit which at times may takes longer period of time as it took to create such habbit, so to avoid an intending destruction of habbit, always do well to create and master a good habbit which you maynot intend to destroy for a longer period of time.

REMEMBER:

your habbit depicts your personality, so do well to acquire and master a good habbit that suits your person.

your habbit can make you as well as mar your successes, do choose a good one

never mastera habbit you will want to destroy later because it will cause you morethan it takes to create a habbit in destroying one(do not bite what you can't chew nor smell what you wouldn't eat)

Letting go of a habit is very difficult. That can be one reason why it is nearly impossible for smokers to quit smoking. It requires strong will power and determination to let go of a habit.

@mkam, you are absolutely right, it's difficult and takes time to cultivate a habbit and more difficult to destroy one.

These days habits matter a lot, as it could be the only way for people to analyze your personality.

Even in the internet, many people don't know that their social media life and dispositions paint a lot of pictures about them.

It's expedient we keep what we do on check, even though most times habits are difficult to tame.
