Cognitive Immersion N°3, Fish or cut bait!
“Севрюга, судак терпуг бычок. Горбуша, ёрш зубатка окунь?”
—MaresPW
Fish or cut bait, Steemian! Exercise creativity with us :)
Have you ever heard about the use of “fish” in a derogatory way as a stupid and inept person? This can happen if you experience cultural shock without knowing it!
For me, stupid people do not exist. Even the less intelligent one and the one that seems deprived from something of a value in your eyes, can make you feel happy and willing to collaborate IF YOU manage to find the right point for collaboration and calibrate it in such a way that it makes a good and stable friend who is already even capable of letting you know more about him/her, and more about you as well.
Today's cognitive immersion exercise consists of imagining yourself that you know Russian and that you use those two sentences in the quote ordering food on a date.
- You are a CREATIVE if you are capable of describing the situation.
- You are TALENTED if you manage to translate the sentences with some help from the terminology below.
- You have a GOOD editorial sense of humor if THIS makes you laugh the very moment you finish reading or hearing it.
- You are COURAGEOUS to even think to undertake THIS at all...
But, hey, how was the experience?
ENJOY!
