Mini Motivation #10 - How would others remember you?
My Mom always tell me when doing good deeds, it's best to not expect anything to return. Do it with a willing heart, and trust that when help is needed in the future, somehow things will work out.
Pay it forward whenever you can, Son.
In a world that's materialistic and somewhat dominated by consumerism, I feel it has made us selfish. We started putting the dollar value on the things we do, and sometimes, we want to get "even".
Sure, work well done should be well compensated by the client. That's an exchange of service.
But what about those random acts of kindness? Or when you quietly slipped a few pieces of notes into the empty wallet of your loved ones? Or the person in front of you at a fast food line was a few dollars short of a Happy Meal, and you decided to cover for the kid? Or when you dropped by that orphanage in the neighbourhood on a hot sunny day and bought each of the kids a popsicle?
The truth is, if done well, "pay-it-forward" as what my mom advised, you probably won't remember the deed. But every time a wallet is opened, or when a parent saw a Happy Meal box, or on hot, sunny days, somewhere out there, someone's thinking of you, and the time you made their day.
So, who are you gonna pay it forward to, today?

Sometimes it is just the small things that make all the difference! To see role models in the older generations perform little acts of kindness also sets the guidelines for the up and coming younger population. Well written...
When you donate your time, skills, or money, you are generally doing it to make something better. The world is becoming a slightly better place with each donation. ❤

Some people nowadays do kindness and expect others to do the same for them. Hope that this advice will help to change their mindset. You gain more peace when you give more without hoping other people to treat you the same as you treat them or hoping that people would ever remember you for your deeds.

one of the best pay-it-forward is to share a smile with people we come across. sometimes a smile is all that is needed to make someone's day.
Giving truly - without expecting anything - is sowing seeds of community into one of humanity's connected gardens.
You may never eat from this particular garden but someone somewhere is also planting something that you or someone you know will feed from or have already fed from.
