Two kinds of reasoning

1.Deduction or Deductive Reasoning

eg-    A is son of B
        So A is younger than B

    Deduction can be defined as a process of reasoning in which the conclusion drawn from premises are either less general than their premises, or as most as general than their premises, but never more general than all or any of their premises.

2.Induction or Inductive Reasoning

eg-Some sparrows can fly.
Therefore all sparrows can fly.

It is an inference in which the conclusion states more than what is given by the premises.
