Parents who are on the cell phone risk their behavior in their children

What are the consequences when parents are playing mobile games instead of watching their kids build their towers in the sand? They risk serious behavioral problems.

A recent study suggests that this type of parental behavior harms the relationship between parents and children and brings problems in the behavior of children.

Children with insufficient support and parents' attention are growing frustrated and hyperactive, according to a study published by Pediatric Research. They are blazing, they are harsh and have rages of anger, the scientists warned after an ongoing research that was followed by the behavior of 183 pairs of parents and their children aged up to 5 years.

During the six-month period of study, parents reported on their own use of technology and described the behavior of children.

In almost all cases time spent with various devices, even when it was only once a day, stopped quality communication between parents and children. Both mothers and fathers noticed that these breaks influenced the child's behavior and increased their level of stress.

Such situations have widened the reality of life in the 21st century. Parents are used to turning to electronic means to "pause," then for example, American parents spend at least 9 hours a day watching television or surfing on computers, tablets, or smartphones.

If the parents are still dissatisfied with their own family situation or social life, they are more often inclined to digital technology, playing games, etc.

Some parents use a variety of gadgets to take a break from the kids, even when they pray for their attention. The study states that direct contact and communication with the child should be at the center.

Scientists suggest parents to take a certain time in which gadgets will not be used and will be dedicated only to children.

Society has adapted technology, but we do not develop values with respect to it. We conceive technology and our interaction with it as something primordial, leaving aside everything else.

Unfortunately you are right. I hope we will change it.

It;s a very nice message to all parents .They have to think about it Because children are children they don't know how to manage yourself .If parents won't pay attention then it will be harmful to both .Sometimes parents forget to care their children for personal enjoy and hold up them a electronic gadget or mobile to play .That is most dangerous thing .So a better relation should be among parent, children and gadgets . waiting for your opinion

I think the relationship between children and parents should be improved. at all levels.
Parenting is difficult, but when you have a child, you must be prepared to be fully dedicated to the child.
I have seen several occasions where a little child, no older than six years, physically attacked his mother with a look of rage and hatred because his mother did not buy a toy that he wanted .
this child does not know what love and goodness are. there is no understanding and empathy for others.
And finally, in what kind of person will this child grow up?

I observe this everywhere. Yesterday when i was driving to the supermarket, i had to stop at a red light to let people cross the road. The mother was pushing a pram with one hand, was texting on her phone with the other hand, and behind her a 2 or 3 year old toddler just following. So this crossing is on a really busy 4 way junction, the mother reaches the other side and the toddler is still in the middle of the road shes just dancing to her self, the lights have turned green, one or two cars beeped at the same time which caught the attention of the mother who then panicked and called the toddler to her.

I could not believe it, whilst crossing an extremely busy section of the road she had her phone in her hand and not the hand of a toddler, this was not an older child who you would expect to have been taught how to cross a road safely.

When i was working in a restaurant, i would see parents often asking if they could have some nibbles before the meal came out to occupy the 'naughty' child. But what i saw was one or both parents on their phone the whole time, and the child would start misbehaving to get their attention, but they would just give them more distractions. Not everyone is like this obviously, but once you've seen it, you notice it absolutely everywhere, it's so shocking, we consider or selves to be intelligent beings, but we're not, we're quite stupid in someways when we can't even listen to our natural instincts anymore.

That's a problem.
if the parents are less with the cell phone, and more with the child there would be no such problems.
I understand that children can not sit at attention.
but there must be limits.
If I go to a family lunch what can be so important that I spend whole time on my cell phone rather than with my family. Is a tweet, a comment on Facebook more important than the family?

I think for a lot of people it is more important! There's a cafe in my hometown which has a sign outside which says 'NO WIFI- TALK TO EACHOTHER!'

It's probably something that's been around online but i love it so much. We need more places like that!
