A tap within

I hear the speech of inspiration

The deep one-man conversation

Preparing the soul for the next steps to be taken

My confidence lies alone in my self-acceptance

What people think can`t play the number one role as I face me - the person I am & choose to be 

Not saying I don`t care what influences me from outside

It`s knowing I'm not running after external things at the expense of the internal resources needed to become the person I seek to be 

It`s knowing what I can handle when life throws unwanted things at me 

Perhaps, enough stones with which I can build a bridge from where I seem to have fallen off

I believe one can be that lucky

I hear the word resourceful

My mind says focus - who are you before, during & after a challenge

Ask What, Why, How, When, Where

Wow! I hear my power version say

Clarity, insights, perspective to move on

My confidence comes from knowing I'm valuable & have the ability to strive on

Nothing can take that away

No matter the state an emotion might be directing me 

The world is not against me

I`m simply me in the world

Stepping up into courage 

Driven by what I believe in

Failure says try again with an insightful twist

Certainly not an end

Just a bend
