Love for yourself #3 // Reboot yourself

in #psychology7 years ago

Hello, Steemians :) !

After a few days of my absence here I want to share with you the thoughts I've catched in the last days ;)!

Recently in my life there are many events, good and strange, bright and different :)
Accordingly, emotions were like a swing too, then up and down :)
Lately there have been a lot of activity and less sleep :P

The previous week was full of bright emotions and events on the contrary. All week.
BUT!
As I understand at the end of last week - you may be tired, may be an overload even in the bright emotions!
Especially if you sleep a little, drink a lot of coffee and constantly experience the excitement!!!

And one day you can find yourself in the middle of the day, in the middle of great events and realize that you are very tired. As if your battery is at zero, completely discharged!

You know, it's a very unpleasant feeling! How to be sick without being sick.
You use logic and you clearly understand that everything is good in your life now is a good period!
But,nevertheless you feel weak, you feel that you don't want anything at all .
You don't want to do anything, see and hear nobody, you don't want anything bright and active right now.
You just want to get under the blanket and cry or do the simplest things for which you do not need a lot of strength - eat, sleep, watch movies ...

I'm telling you about my weekend and the last few days...
They were very similar to that...
The batteries are at zero and need a reboot of the entire system.
In primarily nervous system...

And I'm glad that right now I have a great time in my life for this!
I have the option of just lying down and rebooting my system, without having to do something if I need it for a few days!

And I again realized one thing! Sometimes "self-Love" means that we just have to do nothing and let our body and mind recover. Even if this strange sadness and fatigue seem silly to us, if there is no reason to feel bad!
BUT! No need to push yourself forward, no need to blame yourself or condemn!
Sometimes you just need to listen to your body, your emotions and do what is now the most important!
Even if it does not do anything :P!

Okay,I admit it.
I'm a little lying ;)
I still did something :)!
I watched one fantastic TV series and started reading a novel about love in a supernatural world :Р
(What can I say ^-^! it helps me when the forces are at zero ;) it's important for everyone to find their own rituals, something that works for you when the batteries are low and need a reboot ;)!)

And you know, I realized that sometimes it is important to calm down and put things on pause ;)!
And you know what?
The world did not collapse:)!
It's okay !! Nothing terrible happened in these few days, when I regained strength ;)!
But now I smile again and enjoy the simple things - sun, wind, fresh air, easy conversation...
Yes, I feel like I'm not 100 % good yet :)!
BUT!
I believe I am going through great lessons on how to truly love myself, how to live so as to feel good, enjoy life and always have a high level of energy!
I still have a lot to learn, but I feel like I'm on the right way ;)!!

Please, love yourself!
Relax, do not let your internal batteries completely discharged ( it is painful and sad!)

I will be happy to read your thoughts, comments, your opinions and ideas;)

Thank you for your attention !!

Thank you @megamax :) now i am here and have new plans for the new posts :)

I'm with you on this.

I've experienced this too, and am still learning and honing the best way to stay charged.

Sometimes the only thing you can do is lie down for a reboot.

And it's not a bad thing at all. It's not a failure or a sign of defeat. It's just the natural way that our bodies operate.

We do live within cycles - all life does.

And I think we feel the best when we can rely on a predictable daily cycle with little deviation.

To me, that's why rituals can be so calming, and so helpful too.

I've, only in recent years, discovered the true value and enjoyment of having dedicated personal rituals. And they can involve the simplest of things, too. (Hint: see my tiny user pic for a very beloved one of mine.) Just the act of engaging in a ritual can be soothing and helpful, and ease tension, emotions, even physical discomfort.

I do like your analogies used:
Recharge, reboot - create a re-energizing self-love ritual.

This is, indeed, a very wise and helpful thing to do for your overall health and well-being. You are very right, it's so important that we love ourselves. So thanks for the reminder!

I'm new to Steemit, and I've enjoyed reading all the interesting perspectives on here. One other user you may want to check out for related reading is @jakeybrown. They post about topics very closely related to this.

Yes, actually, I do...and I did - so whaddaboudit?! You're very welcome, and thank you!

Sometimes we need to recharge, whatever that means to you. I personally love walking in nature and doing yoga. I try to do activities that help me recover while being active, I only get about 5-6 hours of sleep a night, but doing certain activities where I can meditate keeps me feeling rested :)

I really like walking in nature too, and breathe deeply and enjoy the fresh air! It always fills me with new energy :)! I think, yoga its very good choice too :)!!
