Hey @dedicatedguy. Besides loving your post, I think empathy should be the most important value to be taught at home, it allows you to be more human and sensitive about other people's struggles and problems.
In addition, I believe that empathy also teaches you to give the best of you without expecting nothing in return, that's why it's so important to learn this priceless attitude.

Yes, our home is where we learn the most about life. It is much more important to have a good family education than to have a good academic education. At least that's what I think.
Family values are what define us as individuals. What we learn at home will become part of us for the rest of our lives.
