RE: Mini Motivation #1 - Ask not for success, but the opportunity to attempt at success
I wasn’t quite motivated to get up to do whats needed to be done this morning. As I read through this post, it gives me the push that I needed. Thanks a lot. Well said. Will keep it in mind 🙂
We're on a long haul- this is a marathon, not a sprint :) you'll be tired after a sprint but you'll learn to conserve your energy and control your pacing and breath in a marathon. Be a marathoner, not a sprinter, unless your clients need that brief by tomorrow LOL @edmundang
@maverickfoo love the tagline. When I don't feel like reading long posts, a perfect length like this one will do just nice <3
@deborism, this is just a perfect analogy and could not have said it better myself. Thank you
Always focus on the first 5 minutes that will lead to you doing the rest. If it's writing, just simply start the first paragraph and free flow till you get the momentum. If it's a morning walk, then it could be sleeping in your sports wear, have your toothbrush ready and the moment you're up, in under 5 minutes, you'll be out for the walk.
Once we get into the flow of things, the momentum will push us forward.
Cheers!
