The bottom line is way beyond psychology and philosophy but grasping that ignorance harms as much as artillery. Mainstream philosophy and psychology are helpless in helping resolve world dilemmas, they too have shown their boundaries and are now officially obsolete.  This is because they have never made really sense (rather used for intellectual self-indulgence) that we are faced today with an impasse and possibly society's downfall. 

The problem, you see, is that biologists have found out that 'living organs' have much longer life spans when transplanted... so the hunt shows no signs of slowing down, which is excellent for business!  China's $1bn illegal organ trafficking trade exposed. We ought to grasp that the traffic is protected in higher sphere, just like illegal drugs. It is just too lucrative. People are in general not inclined to donate a relative in the need an organ  because there are so many on the black market already! By the same token, one has to question prohibition (which keeps prices high)  as a whole and as why ruling powers are font of it.  These two aspects makes the case for a voluntary and money-free society.

The situation is a lot worse than that. The WHO of course does not include China. It is deeply troubling to see the WHO numbers parroted by the media and other humanitarian organizations.  

Just look at the numbers of the transplant waiting list. What we should wonder about is how can so many people have such problems to start with? Well.... how about understanding that our contaminated and toxic food chain is at the core of the problem. The organ the most sought is the kidney for example, but diabetes destroys kidneys. Interestingly people with diabetes are on meat restricted diet... so what does it mean? That high meat consumption, and not just sugar, is also fueling the trend. Money is the ultimate driving force. How far will society have to go into materialism before comprehending that money will always make people irrational -- or turn them into criminals. Monetarism has a lot  more downsides than upsides.

Only 15% of those waiting will get an organ this year.
