We Can't Save or Heal a Psychopath!

in #psychology6 years ago

It is unfortunate to say and to know, but we cannot save a Psychopath. In this Bite Sized Clip, I share a bit of information on the matter. This video is drawn from the longer more complete video regarding Psychopaths as Types of Abusers.

@binkyprod do you know the difference between neurotics and psychotics?

“Neurotics build castles in the sky; psychotics move into them. 😉

Nice quote. Although psychotics are different than psychopaths. Psychotic is usually an adjective attributed to an episode, symptom or reaction a person has, or sometimes to a person who suffers from episodic psychosis, caused m=by sleep deprivation, depression, trauma, etc. While psychopathy is a personality disorder where a person lacks empathy and seeks solely to harm others for their own personal gain and pleasure.

Neuroticism is caused by anxiety disorders, mood swings, CPTSD and the likes.

It's true you definitely can't heal, save, or change them. Been there, tried that... thanks for shedding light on the issue
