We All Have Narcissistic Traits

in #psychology6 years ago (edited)

We all can have traits of narcissism at some point in our lives, either from circumstance or situation or by happenstance as part of our development. One or two traits is very different than having all the traits and being afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I discuss a bit of this in this Bite-Sized Clip, which is drawn from the longer video
"Types of Abusers: Narcissists."

@binkyprod I liked your post and have myself faced this horrific experience of a narcissistic abuse. One or two traits can be normal but as you rightly mentioned there are number of traits that define the narcissism and according to me one who has gone through it can only understand how important it is to heal from this as quickly as possible!

Thank you. I'll check out your content.

I sadly tried to bury everything before healing, so I started healing much later than I should have been. I felt too ashamed about what had happened to me, not understanding it fully. But once I started understanding better what I was experiencing with my symptoms, then I started healing. It's been taking some time, but it's been progressing continuously all the same.
