RE: Burnout Syndrome
This study project is aimed at the health professions but as you say burnout appears in many professions, especially those that require constant contact with people:
"Although initially conceived as a specific syndrome of the service sector, mainly health care, it was subsequently found to be extended to other sectors. There are professions that are characterized by great responsibility, continuous and direct treatment with other people, the high volume of work, job insecurity and psychological resistance required by the profession. The result is the presence of greater vulnerability to being related to this syndrome, creating emotional problems such as impotence, disappointment, irritation, apathy, negativity, skepticism and a feeling of professional failure."
