Psychology is important in today's era to understand the human behavior to whom you are interacting and the people around you. • When you try to convince someone over something, make sure they are sitting and you are standing. This makes them believe you sooner.

• Giving a presentation? Always bring a bottle of water to the stage. When you can’t remember what to say, take a drink. Nobody will know the difference.

• Spot the difference between a fake smile and a real one. You can find out if someone is smiling for real or faking it by looking at their eyes. Wrinkles form near eye corners when the smile is genuine.

• How to win an argument? If the person arguing loses his temper and starts shouting, natural human tendency is to shout back. DON’T! Stay calm and reply in silence. This will piss them off even more. Try it! It works.

• Don't say 'Can you help me?'/ 'What can you do for me?' etc. Say 'What do you suggest?' . It moves from being a request/imperative/demand to a plea for help. People LOVE being needed. You'll get more this way.

• The more you try to impress people, the less impressed they’ll be. Nobody likes a try-hard.
