Have you ever felt lazy, aimless, full of doubts, or having no certain direction to follow? Life feels boring, meaningless or bland?

Each one of us falls prey to one of these feelings from time to time.

For a long while I have been wondering why some people are highly energetic, active and always alert while others are lazy, drowsy and distracted. I used to believe that it is about their personalities, or how ambitious they are or their mentality, and in both cases the situation is already predetermined. Until, I found out that people become active in certain situations as when they are involved in activities or when they speak about something that is meaningful to them, otherwise they return to being flaccid. As if their vitality were triggered by something that is not always there. They look as if they come to life, the enthusiasm flows through them; they look strong, emphatic and assertive. With time I came to a realization that every person innately has his own share of energy and vitality. Every one is highly energetic in a way or another.

Your energy is already there dormant and subtle waiting for a way out (Sometimes you become aware of it, but usually you get distracted afterwards). What special about it, is that it is different in nature from others’ energies, it has its own triggers and direction. To harness your own energy you must find the triggers and be aligned with the direction.

How do you interrupt the flow of your energy?

-Depending upon the society you live in you might have one or more of these mindsets-

Comparing yourself to others; which makes you overlook your own strength; lock the door for your energy to flow. Others have different energies with different triggers and directions. When you choose to work on something that is not aligned with yours you entitled yourself more effort and pain for little achievement.
Trying to be someone else or proving competency in something that is not yours in order to win appreciation, affection, money or what reward ever. If you are somewhere where everybody appreciates extroversion and you are an introvert yourself, you will be disappointed when you push yourself to act as extrovert. Think also of being surrounded by bookworms and you are in outdoor sports.  Caring what others might think of you and believing their judgment or being surrounded by negative people and affected by them.
Trying to win every race and every argument. No one wins all wars. It is very distracting and disappointing to oblige yourself to an argument in order to only prove your point of view.
Believing there is trivial talent or work. Or there is an activity that is futile. You may find yourself passionate about a kind of knowledge, activity or work that is considered trivial by your society.
Borrowing values or standards from society or media, which are not in alignment with your own core values and standards.
Doing something that is neither entirely meaningful to you nor are you passionate about, however appreciated by others.

When you feel down, you need take a pause and re-align with your energy.

Alignment comes through finding your own answers, building upon your innate powers, finding what makes blood flow through your veins, seeking excellence in what you can already do and feel comfortable doing, acceptance of your weaknesses and strengths the way they are, and finding what is meaningful for you.

Live according to your own core values; what is important for your should be of higher priority than what is important for others, live according to your own standards, what you know to be right is right regardless of what others believe, what is enough is enough. Move your focus from the final results to everyday journey, perfect every tiny step according to your own standards.

Aligning to your energy is not something you chase rather you allow. They energy already there urging you to align, you only need to permit it to unfold.

Thanks,

Spot on. Hit home on several things. I know someone who is relatively shy and quiet, but when you start talking about "her" subject? She comes alive. Okay, alright. She's me.

No one is crazy when he is surrounded by those who have the same kind of craziness. Find your people and everything is fine.

No, I'm actually crazy when I'm off my meds. I'm doing a series of blogs about what it's like you can find it on my page. It's titled Suicide IS an option.

Started reading it :)

Thank you for this @alignment :c)

It rings true.

A small word of suggestion - Since SBD is stronger than STEEM - I would suggest opting for your rewards 50%/50%. ^_^

Yes it'll occasionally involve a visit to the internal market (the best way to convert) but it'll be worth it in the long run.

You welcome @pathforger ( I like your name).
does this mean that the only way to increase my steep power is buying steem and converting ?

Oh no. It is completely possible and feasible to gain Steem Power through posts and comments and curation (upvotes) alone.

What I meant is that in a situation where you can either get 100% Steem or 50/50 Steem and SBD where each unit of SBD will get you more than 1 Steem, it makes sense to go 50/50 and then use the 'Internal Market' to exchange your SBD for Steem (which then can become Steem Power).

Its a slightly longer process but you can currently reasonably expect to gain 15% more overall just by doing this process (its currently 0.83 SBD per 1 Steem).

Which is why many users 'don't' do 'power-up' at the moment.

And thanks - You have a nice username also. ^_^

Great, i got it now. Thanks for the clarifications. 🙏🏻

You welcome*nice you

So rich in wisdom. Thank you.
