The use of external social cognition, the "super ego", as the origin of the human species

in #psychiatry7 years ago

The Freudian "super ego" is external to the human brain, and in the Westphalian consensus for example, rule of law itself. These extra-cerebral networks for external social cognition, enables coordination of selection and inheritance of memes at a network scale, co-opting the executive (ego) system and self-regulation within individual human beings.

This use of governance, which co-evolved with memetic cognition, is what sets humans apart as a eusocial mammal.

With the web 3.0, the "exocortex" takes on the functions of the Freudian "super ego".

The triumph of individualism has been to the detriment of collective membership.

Well my friend it is somewhere interesting concept of super ego and can you please elaborate it does it is about some programming on its about our brain.

The best way to understand it is as an augmentation. So, Marshal McLuhan described two extensions of the human organism, physical tools and cognitive tools. I have added a third extension, social tools. Those are in a way combined into the Freudian "super ego", which is then external to the brain, an "external social cognition" or "external frontal lobe" which augments the capacity for self-regulation from the executive (ego) system.

With the web 3.0 and the "exocortex", all that functionality will move from the nation-state and onto the exocortex, and vastly increase the memetic intelligence ("collective intelligence") of the human species.

Wow it's really sounds cool.
