Great blog @emmasumner. I agree with what you said. I had this cloud of smoke (delusion) around me for many years. I haven't smoked in a while and am thankful for it. The herb showed me something outside myself and things I must work on, but it should (in my opinion) just be used as a tool or a reminder to keep working on yourself. The word 'gateway' is a hard one, as I'm well aware of the negative connotations regarding the term 'gateway drug' but I feel it is fitting as it should be used as a gateway. Enjoy the experience, learn from it and let it go.
