Beware OpenLedger
Normally I would refrain from negative reviews, but I have encountered a situation with OpenLedger that warrants some change in policy and the community should be made aware. I have also been finding similar stories around the web and this is becoming the norm with OpenLedger.
On a regular basis, I use Bitshares for exchanging and have little to no problems it. The other day, I decided to transfer a little more than usual (200 EOS) and the transaction was verified. But after staring at my EOS wallet for about 30 minutes, something started to feel wrong.

After waiting around for a day, I decided to reach out to OpenLedger Support to see if they could resolve the issue since they appear to be handling the transaction. But alas, an email conversation with OpenLedger support is worse than calling your local ISP customer service.
The sad part here is that I already went to the links the support associate provided and they were of little help. I duck-ducked many articles, help links and filled out the ticket as best I could (providing details of course). In return, I have received requests to fill out the ticket "correctly". I have asked them again to review the information in the ticket and they will still not acknowledge the situation because I am not conforming to their format.
I expect this kind of behavior in the modern world today, but not in a trustless Blockchain environment. If we really want other people to adopt Blockchain with us, then situations like this need to be programmed out of existence. A gateway provider should not be able to hide your funds from you and not have this much control.
In summary, if you decide to use Bitshares or OpenLedger, beware. You may "lose" your EOS tokens to someone who needs a ticket filled out properly and does not care that your money is out of reach.
Keep it secret. Keep it safe.
== UPDATE: April 13, 2018 ==
After many days of going back and forth, OpenLedger was able to identify the issue and fix it.
Sorry. Maybe you can set it up in their format as requested.
The BTS blockchain will keep your transaction proof valid forever.
Good luck I have moved many coins on OL with no problem. :D
Thank you for the encouragement @justiciar. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. They are wanting me to create an OpenLedger account; that's the format they want.
