Let’s Talk Concept!


Competitiveness has always been the major drive of the decentralized ledger technology i.e the need to have a competitive concept advantage over others has always foster technological growth, especially when it comes to building a platform for easy-to-use application and service development. However, because of the very competitive nature, some concept has resulted to offering a combined package; a full integration of scalability, SDKs (software development kits), smart contracts, IoT (internet of things), and agnostic asset exchange possibilities, just to clone the same network effect as previous successful solutions and sometimes offer more (few feature addition) to enable them be considered amongst technological trends, when they really don’t have anything to offer. ProximaX provide developers with a set of tools that will enable them build applications with ease while also utilizing inherent benefits that comes with blockchain technologies. The aim of ProximaX is to avail a fully-fledged platform for universal application development while using blockchain concept as an anchor of value for the builders, funders, consumers and other adopters of their new technological concept.


Very rare finding blockchain projects with full integrated package, most infrastructural solution offers parts. For example, some concept offer great transaction speed alone, some offer great storage and asset security, some are focused on streaming services only etc., however, because of the inconsistency of the various development tool, it becomes difficult for the developers to build and launch applications in such a complicated environment. The ProximaX Sirius core infrastructure platform will be leveraging the strength of an amended and augmented blockchain with full integration of a peer-to-peer mechanism, distributed off-chain storage, database, and streaming layers which are overlaid with APIs or SDKs readily available in a wide range of programming languages (e.g. TSJS, Java, CSharp, CPP, PHP, Python etc.) for the developers to develop and deploy their application on-time and with ease. The following are core services offered by the ProximaX core infrastructure architecture;
Sirius Storage Capability
Sirius makes use of the Distributed File Management System (DFMS) which serves as the file storage mechanism on the platform.
Sirius Streaming
The Sirius Peer Stream Protocol (PSP) allows for high security, performance, end-to-end encrypted messaging and streaming services. The PSP is designed to be privacy inclined routing protocol of which users messaging are well encrypted, and they can also stream videos anonymously without having to give out details of who they are. PSP help keep balance by eliminating risk of maintaining exit nodes and out-proxies. There are two layers to which streaming services can be delivered;

  • Storage streaming: The first has to do with recording videos which will be uploaded to the Sirius storage, and then streamed to viewers i.e. the streaming content is provided right from the storage. Hence, it allows for pre-recorded streaming.
  • Live streaming: This does not need videos to be recorded before they are uploaded to be streamed on the network. It has the necessary tools needed for users to make live streams on the platform. It however enhances full anonymous interaction between users.
    Database
    The Sirius Database is a private based, services are unavailable to the public protocol. However, Applications requiring a database can use the Sirius Database to build hybrid architectures that can grant access to the core services of the public infrastructure.
    Supercontracts
    Contracts that execute via a distributed manner with pre-agreed consensus mechanism. All data are encrypted and split into smaller units which is then stored across the available storage nodes while utilizing the consensus mechanism already in place.

Potential Use-Case


Charles Dickson is a successful crypto trader and small-scale programmer with lot of digital assets in holding. What he does most of the time is to hold certain cryptocurrencies until they experience a price pump. Although successful, he has lost some potential profits as a result of lack of necessary information that would have guided him in making the best decision on the choice of crypto assets to sell or not sell. He noticed that existing exchanges doesn’t offer such luxury. He was so determined and as the opportunist he is, he knew he could be the first to make that happen so he kept on researching. However, the result of his findings was a bother until he came across ProximaX in a very recent @originalworks contest. There, he discovered he doesn’t need to be tech genius to make his idea a reality, he could in one place assemble and build an exchange platform to that effect. Utilizing the ProximaX development tools, he was able to create a platform called “Distro” with all due changes incorporated.


All thanks to ProximaX, Distro seems to be a reliable solution, as it doesn’t only offer the benefit of information about crypto price pumps but it also help him to stay anonymous during the course of transaction.
