These are some of the images that emerged from Berkeley last night, in the wake of the spirited protests against alt-right figurehead Milo Yiannopoulos.

There have been increasingly tense protests as Yiannopoulos visits campuses as part of a speaking tour. Recently, a Trump and Yiannopoulos supporter shot and critically injured a protester. For more coverage from that event, see this Seattle Times timeline.
