High maintenance, low output

Imagine that you drive to a gas station and fill up your gas tank. As you drive out you notice that your fuel gauge begins to go down. You continue to drive and after reaching your destination your gas tank is half empty. You only drove one block, a total of one kilometer and your tank is half empty. You just spent a hundred bucks to fill up your tank and only traveled one kilometer.  That is the definition of high maintenance and low output. 

That is what it is like to have a girlfriend that only knows how to take and never learned the meaning of the word give. The only time this kind of woman offers to give of herself in service to others is when she is being grossly overpaid. Sort of like the Paris Hilton type. The star that thinks everyone owes her a living and a lavish lifestyle. Yet she has done absolutely nothing in her life to earn it.
