Property Investment Life Cycle - Land Acquisition

This is the first step to start the whole process of investing in a real estate. This crucial step determines a lot of factors, now and the future. Land can be categorised into four titles for different uses. The titles also determine the price of the land per square feet (psf) or per square meter (psm). They are agriculture, commercial, residential and industrial. These land titles could be convertible by requesting from the respective state governments.  

When a developer purchases a land for development or a farmer purchasing a land for raising live stocks, they must be sure of the terrain the current land has. Whether it's a flat land, hilly with forest, comes with a natural lake, runs a stream through it or simply just is more dune / sand like land. Another point to look at is that if the land is on leasehold or freehold title.  

When acquiring or renting land, we use simple steps to determine if the land is suitable for our clients. Location, Purpose, Price, Population.
