Propaganda is all around us. The same oligarchs who purchase politicians control the mainstream media. This is obvious once you understand that control of information is the truest source of power; hence the global attack on "fake news". The same oligarchs that control politicians controlling media makes it clear that the mainstream media is government propaganda.
The answer of course is decentralization. This is why blockchain is so revolutionary. It is difficult to censor what is not centralized. Grass roots media like @tftproject and @tomanderson can get their message out. It does not stop at media. Social media can be completely decentralized. Economic systems can be outside of government control. Even voting has the potential of being revolutionized by blockchain. These are truly revolutionary times.
