RE: Lemmings Don't Jump Off Cliffs - #PropagandaWatch

I watched this pleasing fantasy and think it could make a good movie. But similar to the silliness of Ayn Rand it does not portray humanity as it is. All of humanity is a mixed lot. Some members of wealthy families used their freedom to help mankind and likely also had regrets as to how they used their wealth to feel superior to and patronize the rest of us - e.g. noblesse oblige. And many, many good people came from the not so powerful or free members of the middle classes when they existed. The poor forced to spend so much of their lives just eking out a living usually had little time or energy to contribute. There are two forces in the world, one from the sum of all the good thoughts and actions coming from all people, and the other from the ugly side of each of us. Mankind will succeed when there is real understanding that the first really is what represents us and the second is what weakens us. Creating the impression that there are good and bad families, and that they are all in Italy, is really part of the injustice. If I had to guess, having a lot of wealth corrupts most people - making them most interested in preserving their wealth instead of being for justice. The lack of sufficient wealth to live on also corrupts people. Still both goodness and evil come from everyone and I think should be seen that way. The real job for all of us to just give up our feelings of superiority as an evil illusion and be a means of bringing out the best things in all people including ourselves.
