I also dont think he should because you've downvoted him to invisibility and it will take the community a few days to bring him to L0.

Why do you even react to this? If someone is flagging you and removing your payouts, comment on the same post and give yourself more upvotes. With the kind of stake you have, unless some big accounts fight you, you are good to do what you're doing. That's how the system is designed. I am not a fan of your analysis or the amount of payouts you get but your upvotes and no different from selfvotes of someone with 15 SP. You've got a larger stake and hence your vote is worth much more.

What i do not agree with is downvoting small guys to -ve weight. Fight words with words and -ve payout with negative payout. Don't give a -200 dollar negative vote because you lose 10 dollars.

Luckily he has community support and he will survive this. Most people will just leave steemit. If this is like the hen that lays golden eggs for you, then it breathes on new users, don't kill the hen by destroying users.
