ARK
Cryptocurrency is not a new thing. A number of currencies based on crypto have been there in the market for years. Many of them are copy paste technologies just to gain quick profit during the trend. ARK Is one of the cryptocurrency that just launched. However, they are not copy paste; they use improved technologies that will bring difference to the blockchain world.
Derived from Lisk, Crypti, and Bitshares, the expert team of ARK developed new platform with vast improvement to the main keys of blockchain: core code and delegated proof of stake consensus algorithm. As the result, the new ARK technologiesare made with ultra speed, more decentralized, and sustainable. ARK then implements the technologies to the ARK Ecosystem.
One of main parts in the ecosystem is bridged blockchains. ARK bridge other blockchains through vendorfield called SmartBridge. With Smartbridge, ARK provides a mechanism to connect blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Lisk, and more to the main ARK network. SmartBridge entry can be complex but it is useful to make it as a custom piece of information in a transaction since it could be used to communicate almost any kind of data.
The underlying token made another importance as ARK coin is designed to be different from others. It is secure, fast, and stables.ARK is unlikely fail to deliver its promise as it utilizes delegated proof of stake to secure the network and technologies.
ARK is not only focusing on virtual world as they try to make virtual into reality. One of the key in doing it is physical card system, which would be a good tool to access digital currency and to be used as transfer equipment for people who do not have traditional bank account. While digital currency is generally made for blockchain transaction, this physical card system made it possible for the owner to use it to manage off-chains transactions.
THE ARK ROADMAP
Project Ark consists of five phases of development to be sequentially deployed over the next two years. Each phase is constructed upon the foundation of the prior, with the endgame being an integrated ecosystem designed for ease of use and wide spread mass adoption.

Distribution of Smart Cards and POS Hardware. Debugging and Feature building for current use cases. - Argos — Partnerships, Integrations, and Ecosystem Development
Integration of InterPlanetary DataBase (IPDB: Unreleased/Integration date TBD: potential for move to Aphrodite or earlier phases).
If you interest with ARK, the first phase of ARK Project would be started at 7th of November. The Token exchange would include LISK, BTC, and ALTS where Lisk is capped at 22 million, while BTC and ALTS are not capped. The campaign will ended at 11th of December 2016.
