Is promoting a Steem story effective?
I can't tell the benefit of promoting a story. Also, how much do you need to pay to get a return on the promotion?

It's exactly the same as spending time and energy creating a good story, it's still a gamble. When your reputation is below 60, 1 steem dollar should be enough.
