Steemit Roadshow in West Yorkshire tomorrow and friday!
The #promo-uk team is going to be in West Yorkshire tomorrow and friday promoting Steemit on the streets.
Myself, @starkerz, @ashleypeat and @tomasgeorge will be in Leeds tomorrow (thursday 21 September), handing out flyers and telling people about this wonderful place, and Huddersfield on friday 22nd.
I would like to give a major shoutout to the Captain of #promo-uk and #promo-steem, one @stephenkendal who has tirelessly put all this together, and spent a HUGE amount of his own personal money in getting this going.
HOW TO SUPPORT US ON THE DAY
If you live in, or close by one of these areas, please come and find us. We will be by the main university, as close as we can get to the students union without getting moved on by security. We really need LOADS of people to come out and help us.
I'm sure you will spot us in our #promo-uk white T-shirts!
HOW TO SUPPORT US WITHOUT BEING THERE
And one more thing ladies and gents.... everyone in the #promo-uk team is a volunteer. We do this because we love Steemit, and our work is helping to bring more people onto the network, which in turn increases the demand (and price) of Steem. If you really want to help us, but can't get down to be with us, please UPVOTE these posts. even a few cents helps us to recover our costs, of petrol, parking, flyers, t-shirt printing everything.
I will be giving the entire reward amount of this post to @stephenkendal who has selflessly put not hundreds but THOUSANDS of his own cash into #promo-uk and #promo-steem because he genuinely deserves to get a return on his investment in this platform.
That is a really nice gesture but I would much rather you put it towards your petrol money over the next few days. I am sure there will be plenty of whales out there who know I have invested well over +£4,000 now in Promotional Merchandise that we are handing out for free. Hopefully one of them will see the effort we are all putting in and in the spirit of #Steemit give us a few upvotes. I will heading over to Leeds in an hour to meet up with @ashleypeat to hand over 6,000 flyers and a box of T-Shirts. Cheers bud. Keep up the great work. Stephen
