# Day 2. Sensitisation of the students of kampala International University about steemit and cryptocurrency.

Today i spent 2hours at Kampala International University busy introducing and explaining to students about steemit and cryptocurrency.

I addressed different groups of students who were gathered busy having their academic discussions in preparation for their forth examinations.

I gave them my promo-steem business cards to different people that had expressed interest in joining this platform.

I had to bring to their knowledge the fact that Steemit promotes creativity as opposed to the current education system they are undergoing which does not encourage creativity because of it's design. Students to a greater just cram and reproduce the content they have been given while having their normal lectures through out the semester.

I managed to create 2 steemit accounts for some students who were greatly moved and excited after hearing about the steemit gosple.
