Introducing Steemit to University Graduates, Creating a New Community with Back to Life Project.
Communities plays a very important role in the platform, that is why we create as much communities as we can, this will enable us reachout to more people in a short period of time.
These new steemians are the first in the city of suleja, very energetic with ideas and ready to bring their contributions to the Blockchain, they are willing to spread the steemit news to both students and youths around the region, so we expect a massive growth with the next few weeks.
The University graduates are corp members of the Nigeria Youth Service Corp (NYSC) who are voluntarily serving their country Nigeria in a year service scheme.
The Corp members are entitled to the N19,800 (Nigerian Naira) monthly, which is approximately $55 mainly for their upkeep. Steemit will go a long way to help them solve other problems if them can write on their blogs daily.
This introduction was made possible through a project by @iconelly (The 5city project) mainly to take Steemit to 5 cities in the Northen part of the country (Nigeria). So far, the project has been going smoothly, which is mainly in it's first stage, and has visited the first 2 cities (Minna & Suleja)
@yungcheif and @rejoiceavi have relentlessly supported the project with their hardwork and efforts in creating awereness, they have dedicated much time to see Steemit efficiently used.
Before the meetup with the corp members, the group (@iconnelly, @yungcheif & @rejoiceavi) had gone to the hospital to visit the sick and also gave few groceries to the beggars on the street, they share from their steemit earnings with the needy.
The meetup with the graduates started with an introduction to steemit by @iconnelly, he explained how registration could be done, the best ways to earn from the platform, the reliable contest to participate and how to have a good relationship on the platform.
I proceeded on the benefit of the platform, how the platform has changed my life and how our communities can benefit from the platform, I gave them my story to show them a perfect way to follow.
They all got registered and we await their approval. I am so happy a new community has been created and we look forward ti creating more.
