Considering Living in a country where one cannot Boast of $1 a day, in addition to the high unemployment rate, Steemit has been a saviour and Promoting Steemit to alleviate poverty and end unemployment is the best option, not just the best option but what we can't stop doing.

We @egetex @chukwunalu @ifioklee had a promo-steem with the sole aim was to enlighten newbies on the basis of Steemit, the do's and the don'ts of Steemit.. More especially, it's a form of giving back to the society.

@ifioklee started Firstly by killing their fear about their money by telling them that Steemit runs on steem Blockchain which is far different from the Ponzi scheme that has dealt with them. Here, on Steemit, the only thing you need is just your Creativity . He then emphasized more on Pliagrism of posts which is forbidden on Steemit.
We advised them not to have the mindset of coming to get the money cos if they unfortunately they don't get it on their posts , they're going give up. The best is to write quality contents and write from your heart, write cos you love to write. Also to help them grow, we advise they join discord groups and communities and socialize with friends.
We further went on to talk about Tags. Using the right tag gives you the right audience you need for that post.. You can write about Health and use Cryptocurrency tag cos it will be for the wrong audience.
We mentioned contests as a good start for the newbies cos that's the easiest way to get noticed and also steem dollars if you win.
Finally we advised they need not be discouraged or intimidated by high upvotes we see on people's posts. Everyone will get to that level, it takes time but with consistency you will get there
