PROMO-STEEM:- LAUNCHING OF THE SECOND "STEEM ACCELERATOR HUB" (STACH) IN UYO
Yesterday 20th January, 2018 was fun and definetly one of the best days of 2018 as a new hub " Steem Acceleration Hub (stach)" was Launched.
The few people that were able to come early
The event started with an opening prayer by one of the newbies after which an opening remark was made by at @ejemai the initiator of Stach which is "powered by Steem" .
@Ejemai making opening remarks
According to him, starting Steemit alone, he never thought this kind of crowd will follow him, he never thought there could be something called "Stach" in existence but here he's with us, (I think he got emotional here. Lol),has gone to different African countries cos of promoting Steemit even though when he started Steemit in early 2017, he knew nobody, not even any Nigerian. He made mention of his first six posts not getting any views nor upvotes but he never gave up.
He said the sole aim of bringing about stach is to enable decentralization in Africa starting from Nigeria and this is the second hub being launched in Nigeria.
After his remarks, he officially opened the hub.
Official opening
@Ejemai couldn't hide the excitement in him
After which he introduced the Nigerian pioneer steemians from different parts of the country. Present there were @destinysaid @eurogee @nairadaddy @gbenga @samstickkz @onequality @ewuoso
Later on there were all called to educate us about Steemit
@onequality was called to speak on quality posts.
@Onequality talking about quality posts.
He made mention of quality posts as a very important thing on Steemit as quality posts bring about good upvotes and people make it a point of duty to always visit your blog. Also, that one of his major work on Steemit is curating quality posts.
He also made mention of tags. Saying using the right tag gives you the right audience.
After he was done, @udembahenry and @ambdavid asked questions about if it's necessary to have a niche as a newbie?
Then @gbenga decided to answer and gave a satisfying answer.
After @onequality was done, @nairadaddy was called on.
@Nairadaddy talking @gbenga behind him
He made mention of Steemit going into everything as he told us more about @air-clinic which is an online steemit clinic based in Discord. According to him, being sick shouldnt be a big deal as you can easily go to air-clinic discord group and get solutions for free at anytime or anywhere.

Following his speech, @eurogee was called on.
@eurogee speaking about his Steemit journey
He told us about his journey on Steemit alone but he made it and made these friends too. Going further,he admonished us never to give up cos we already have them to guide and direct us as he's into training newbies on Steemit. He said ours would be alot easier as we have people ahead of us already.
He finally said something about @utopian-io and said we should create a discord or whatsapp group and invite him for some tutorials on it.
Also, @destinysaid was called on as he emphasized more on quality posts and also pliagrising post which is bad.
He further went on to say he doesn't upvote pliagrized posts as doing that means supporting pliagrising.
After he was done, some representatives of @cryptonafrica were called and they talked about Cryptocurrency taking over the world soonest.

Their main aim is to help educate newbies who would love to go into crypto market, newbies who want to invest in Cryptocurrency but are confused about the one to invest in.
Finally, @ejemai and @samstickkz made some remarks.
@samstickkz who is the head of @steemit-uyo community was very happy for the new hub opened for @steemit-uyo community.
@Ejemai further emphasized on decentralisation, saying the aim is to empower the African youths not to depend on the government and corrupt politicians, to make youths create their own world and living it.
@Ejemai talking more about Decentralisation
According to him, he said its time the youths get back the power from the government and control things the way they want. I got impacted from all he said.
He also said that the most important thing is that the hub was paid for and furnished with money made from Steemit, that no government official had his hand on it. Like "dem no born any governor well to come talk say Na him help us furnish here"
After his remarks, the cake was cut.
