Youth Empowerment:Taking steemit to the Catholic Youth Organisation(CYON)St. Mary's Catholic Church, Karu-Abuja.

It was another great opportunity on sunday 18th March, 2018 for the edusteem team to take steemit back to another wing (pius group as it is called by catholics) of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Karu i.e Catholic Youth Organization Of Nigeria(CYON) after previously speaking to the National Association of Catholic Graduates NACG in the same venue about 17days ago i.e two weeks interval.

Our dear brother @oliverwilliams whom we met during the NACG meet-up, made it possible for us to have another meet-up with the youths in the church because he belongs to both wings i.e the CYON and NACG.

Every empowered youth is a plus to the society because he or she channels the energy that would have been misused for evil, to good. That is the essence of this meet-up. A positive minded youth grows into a fruitful person and if this happens, then there will be less thugery, stealing, killing and all sorts of societal ills will be wiped out.

CYON, listening with keen interest

Due to limited time, all team members were not able to speak but @sunny4glow, @eugenecr7 and @oliverwilliams gave a short but vivid explanation of virtually everything about steemit which the crowd of about 100 needed to know.
Informing them that steemit is a social media platform where you earn for each post made, unlike most social media platforms. It makes you self-sufficient and highly creative as plagiarism isn't allowed in any form. On steemit, you can post anything as long as it is well written.
