The first Uganda Steemit meetup was a Success. A big steemit network in progress.
A beautiful sunny day, this is how it started.
Our first steemit meet up here in Uganda was a success.
We expected to host fewer people because of the many events that were taking place on the weekend.
On Saturday last week was a day where most people were up and down.
About 40 members showed up with half of those members being very active on the steemit, majory using the Ugandan tag, if you want to check them out.
Another good number was of those people who wanted to join the steemit network in Uganda. basically these people had some some knowledge about cryptocurrency but didn't know much about steemit.
Of course these people were able to sign up that day with our help.

These people, were are expecting them to make a great impact, and together with them we shall achieve more than we even expected.
We hosted one of the Ugandan experts in cryptocurrency stuart,
We were lucky to learn a lot from him. Giving the history and his thoughts about the cryptocurrencies in general.

It was such a learning experience for all of us.
How do we withdraw the money?
@battebilly explaining to us how the money can be withdrawn.
Most steemians wanted to know how to withdraw the money before they even made it, which is understandable.
They were happy to know the procedure was possible.
@jona12 testifying how steemit has done wonders for him. Some of us already knew about it. The new members at first couldn't believe the money and influence he was able to raise.
