Showcasing #Steemit & the #Steem Blockchain at the Future Blockchain Summit
On the 2nd - 3rd May 2018, the Future Blockchain Summit will be held in Dubai.
This is a great opportunity for the Community to showcase #Steemit and the #Steem Blockchain.
I am therefore putting this blog out to gauge the appetite within the Community to support an event like this, before putting a team together.
In a recent comment yesterday by @hms818, I would like to know if there are any others out there that feel we should be attending the Summit.

Having lived in the UAE for over 3 years from 2008 to 2011, I would be more than happy to put a team together and take #Steemit and the #Steem Bockchain to Dubai.

Yes, indeed this is one of the great opportunity to Showcase #Steemit in-front of over 6,000+ visitors and over 800 delegates at world's biggest blockchain gathering. Dubai has a long tradition of leading digital innovation for the region. Now, for the first time, Dubai will be pioneering the application of new technology for cities, and sharing it with the world. When successful, Dubai will be the first blockchain powered government, driving the future economy.
Another event for Steemit to take over. Dubai is transitioning so fast in bloclchain technology and having steemit the fastest growing social network on the globe covering a wider part of the country will be a big stepping stone for the platform. A lot of Arab investors that will put big money in the platform.. Boosting the price of steem.
I feel this is something that needs to be done. You have been doing incredibly well, and seeing you have lived there before should be helpful to the team too, as you can judge appropriately. I think it would be nice, and creating that awareness there would be a huge benefit for Steem/Steemit in the long run. Let's do this. You always know how to pull stuffs like this off sir.
Wow great post. I am getting a good vive from this future blockchain summit in Dubai in May 2nd. It will be great opportunity to promote steemit and make in another levels as it the future.It would be great if you would go there and promote steemit.That is great that you have been to Dubai for 3 years so you have 3 years experience too.It is great chance.
