Value vs. Inflation
In order for the value of #Steem to grow, the value of content being shared must ultimately have to outpace the inflation of the #Steem being produced.
If more value is being added to the #Steem Blockchain than #Steem being created then this will have a huge contribution to the direction of the overall value of the Blockchain.
Quality of content being shared
Sure, supply and demand is the ultimate contributing factor to the value of #Steem and the direction it takes, but what is also just as important is the quality of content being shared.

I appreciate your initiative. The only publicity could increase the value of steem. In particular, the steem network is needs to expand. This will increase its users. Transactions will also increase. Then the value of steem will increase automatically.
