"I've got something to say!"
Here's a quick update on my active series, plus a little promotion for other accounts.
Also, to those of you who have started following me in earnest, I apologize for the staggered scheduling. I’m still getting into the groove of writing at the pace of blogs over the absurdly delayed calendar of the US university system.
You can find my little digest at the bottom of the post, but first: there are some new faces here on Steemit to whom I’d like to point you. They’re great follows, but I also think that their pages are significant resources for more lefty folks on here who are wanting to congregate. Look through their followers, and also at handles contributing to the conversations happening on their posts. You can tap into their follower pool manually, or with some Steem tools (e.g. Steem Followers by @shaunmza), your own Python commands—however you want, and/or are capable of, do scrape their pages for political value. It won't be time wasted. If you have been looking for a left-of-center home feed diet to supplement your daily news briefings on cryptomarkets and (honestly, mostly very interesting) posts in the libertarian vein in #politics, then their content will interest you— in addition to their followers, and it’s likely the content put up by swaths of their followers.
There are number of folks who I’ve met in the past week or so who I’d like to highlight, but this is a really specific community-building list:
- @samseder
- @thechrislapakko
- @big-lou
- and special thanks from #LeftSteem to @davidpakman, who’s really pushing for recruitment.
I’m going to work on building this list over the next few weeks, so stay tuned (and contact me on Discord if you wanna help; I’ll share the Airtable database with you).
And now, here are the two active series:
- Right-Wing Rainbows:
- Accelerate or Loop?
And some art (I’ve never uploaded any visual art anywhere, so this feels weird and is new). I’ve been trying to sprinkle the images throughout my posts, as well, which makes sense because I’m only drawing “#blockchainart” these days:
That two-item list is almost embarassing, but I’m trying to set a precedent with myself to share more (it’s mostly not blockchain art).
