Creating Steemit Awareness in a Youth Conference as a source of Empowerment In Benue State #SteemitPromotion : My Photo Story
Still in the spirit of Steemit Promotion, I was opportuned to share my experiences to a gathering of youths about a broad range of subjects of which Cryptocurrency and specifically STEEMIT was one of them.
I shared my passion to see youths financially liberated and how steemit can serve as a source of getting legitimate money to either start a business or further their education which in the long run will make them better people.
Initially, many were doubtful about the genuineness of Steemit since in Nigeria, people have attributed any online business to fraud and cyber crime which is the order of the day here in Nigeria.
After, showing them how the platform works, how to cash out, how to exchange Steem/SBD to Fiat as well as my account balance and also a photostory of how I was before I got involved in the platform and how I am now due to the benefits the platform provides.
After a compelling story, and seeing my account balance, many of these participants began to see the need to be a part of Steemit as many of them are going through financially challenges as this is another opportunity to engage in their passion (content writing) and get paid for it.
