Steem is getting more global as Paycent integrates STEEM- Promoting in Twitter
While the crypto assets have a store of value, the crypto assets are not just about the store of value and they have different utilities. The wide use cases of a crypto token make the token economically viable and sustainable in the long run. Therefore a better token sink is always essential. All crypto users are not investors. The crypto domain has expanded rapidly over the last few years, especially after 2017, the year of mega bull run of Bitcoin. So there are different types of users that exist in this domain, many of them earn a living from various activities.
Steem blockchain is one such ecosystem where people used to blog, engage and earn STEEM tokens. They use that token in many ways. Where it is about earning a living, they used to sell it for fiat or local currency through exchanges. That may require a two or three-fold exchange to finally realize it in local currency.
So the inflow and outflow of crypto to fiat/local currency will continue to happen and that is also a natural use case. This is also essential to onboard people who have not used crypto yet. It has already delivered more than 94000 crypto-fiat cards. Paycent has recently made an official announcement that their Paycent app now will accept STEEM. So through Paycent cards, STEEM will be easily spendable, STEEM will become more convenient for the users, and STEEM will become more general & more global now. The easy crypto-fiat gateway is a better tool for mass adoption and with this integration with Paycent, STEEM can be withdrawal in local currency through ATMs easily and it can also be used off-line in POS(Point-of-Sale). One can also purchase gold and silver by loading STEEM & using the debit card of Paycent.
It offers three types of cards- Paycent China UnionPay Card, Paycent UnionPay International Card & Paycent Mastercard. The card works in almost all countries except North Korea, Sudan, Iran, and Cuba.
So a hassle-free solution and another use- case for STEEM is on the table in the context of its exchange to local currency in an easy manner. This can prove to be a better solution to those users of the Steem ecosystem who earns a living and that requires them to exchange into fiat. Now with Paycent card they can easily withdraw their STEEM in an ATM and they can also spend it off-line for purchasing goods, should they wish to do so. But most importantly with Paycent, they do not need to open a bank account.
