Great but not great (integrity)

The hidden treasures in you such as your talent, abilities and disposition are the things that announce our greatness in life. The things you probably know how to do or love to do, contribute immeasurably to transporting you to lime light.
True greatness is not often recognized. We all in some way misconstrue what true greatness is. When we see a man driving an ostentatious car, living in a mansion or feeding on large meals we often liken such to a great man. At this point, no one cares to know the man's reputation, integrity, honesty and his source of wealth. All we care about is the man is rich. How the man made his wealth is nobody's business as long as there are evidences that he has good things around him.
Today in our society, thieves and armed robbers are often given titles or awards instead of men and women, who exhibit integrity in their chosen endeavors. No one wants to know if the man obtained his money by tricks or was awarded a contract to build the road to his community and the money diverted to his personal use. What most people care for is, he is an illustrious son and has the money, let's recognize him by giving him a chieftaincy title.
When shall we recognize true greatness? When shall we recognize sincerity, integrity and hard work? When shall we realize that a man can only climb to the top through integrity and hard work?

There are a lot of people who have achieved so much without recognition, maybe you are one. It does not matter if someone does not know you exit or took note of your contributions; this is my encouragement to you... do not be disheartened, for a better name is far better than precious ointments
