MY FIRST HUGE STEEMIT MEETUP AND INVESTORS HUNT AT MASSCENTRAL HOTEL, BORIKIRI, PORT HARCOURT.

It was amazing to talk to the people in charge of money in Nigeria about steemit. The meetup was carried out in mass central hotel, borikiri, Port Harcourt and it was organized by me. The meetup was scheduled to start by 12pm but due to few delays we started by 1pm.

ABOUT THE MEETUP

The meetup took place on the 11th of March, 2018 at mass central hotel, Port Harcourt. It was organized by @raymondbruce.
This is not just the regular meetup I have been doing amongst students but a meetup with men and women that has the ability to invest on steemit.

On getting to the venue, I had to wait about for them at some minute pass 1pm the meet-up started.

I started the meet-up dressed co-operate because it was an official meeting.

On the course on doing an explanation of how big steemit is and how far I and my team is taking steemit I had to unveil my steemit T-shirt

I talked about few topics

• crypto
• blockchain
• steemit and the blockchain
• how steemit can better our economy
• and why steemit is the change we need

HOW I CAME ABOUT THE MEETUP

I was talking to a local government chairman in my community and I told him about steemit which he picked interest in but didn't register then because he was very busy.

I received a call on the 7th of March 2018 by 7am and it was from the chairman himself.
He wanted me to come talk to few of his friends about what I told him(steemit), I was amazed.

They organized the venue for the meet-up and it was scheduled to hold on the 11th of March, 2018 at mass central hotel, borikiri by 12pm.

And my part was just to go talk to them which I did successfully.

I was able to assist six(6) of them in their registration and they are waiting for their accounts to be approved.

CONCLUSION

I'll say the event was a big success and I'm hoping to hear more from them although I have their contacts but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
