As we travel through life, lots of things will certainly happen on the way, but the greatest determinant of success is not what happens to us, but what happens with us. There is a popular saying that "what lies behind us and what lies ahead of us cannot be compared with what lies within us".

Success is first within and the without. On my last article I talked about measure of true success, several inner factors determine our outward success.

courage is an inner force

Courage does not always roar. At times, it is just a quite voice at the end of the day, saying I will try again tomorrow.
It's been said it's not the size of the man in the fight, but the size of the fight in the man that determines the true victory.

I was listening to one of Dr. Myles Munroe tapes, where he said when life knock you down, you should always look up, because if you look up, you could get up. It is the spirit of courage that declares.
Keep this in mind "it is not over until it is over, and it's not over until you win".

You were not designed or created to be defeated. You were created and configured for dominion and destined for greatness. But to win in life you have to keep on trying.

When I joined steemit, wow if I must say it was really hard, my posts hardly get upvoted but I understand the principles of don't give up until you win, and now if is getting bearable for me.
You complaining is okay, but talking about giving up on steemit is funny, if you give up were are you to go?
Facebook or other social media that you only have fun in, nothing more. Don't forget fun is spending and what adds value to you and accounts is investment.
The sweetest part in all is the you on steemit you are not just investing but also having fun.
People made it on steemit and as such you can also if you continue trying.

The race is not for the swift but for those who can keep moving. It is the hammer of persistence that ultimately drives the nail in successfully.

Courage says "never say never", for those who say it cannot be done are usually cut of by somebody doing it.
The length of the journey, nor the strength of the opposition can break the will of the truly courageous individual.

With a will, you can win. With guts, you can leave the rut. With a heart, you can set a legacy. With determination, we reach the cross line of the journey.

How do I be courageous?
It is very simple by making up our minds. Not is more powerful than a made up mind.

Everyone in the world is a goal setter, in one way or the other, consciously or unconsciously. Even the man who is failing or has already failed in life is as a result of the goals set. Most times many of us just tend to do things that will make us not to be successful in life.

Most time we do not realize we are setting goals, when we decide to go out, have fun, go to school, play games, go to work or hang out with our friends, we are really setting goals.

When we do not achieve what we want in life, it’s not a matter goal setting but instead oit is that we don’t set goals for things we really care about or want; we most times set wrong kind of goals.

Successful individuals understand how to set the right goals. This is an important attitude to cultivate because your life and depend on the goals you set- either consciously or subconsciously. Where you end up in life is as a result of the goals set and those not set.

So in the case of steemit, if you want to make it on steemit you have to map out or make goals .Because without goals and plans then you will easily be carried away with other people’s achievements on the platform and end up not getting anything.
On getting to steemit my first goals was that I impact on peoples lives, and that is what has been keeping me going even when I earn nothing.
To survive on steemit, you need to start setting steemit related goals.

Everyone is a goal setter; a successful individual understand how to set the right goals.
The true determinate of the goals we should set and the plans we are meant to make should be based on our purpose and vision in life. Success comes from the discipline of goal setting according to one’s purpose.

I have set goals for my life for the past 10years, and I have mapped out goals for the next 30years because I have seen how successful how success follows goal setting.
