Promotion of Steemit in Nigeria is actually an exciting one. The promotion has been on for about two months now. As the need for more awareness on Steemit increases, we in #promo-nigeria has been working round the clock to bring Steemit to every Nigerian doorstep.

In recent tours, we targeted schools, bus stops and shops. The success has been massive as we get to know more people who are not only willing to become part of us, but also learn about cryptocurrency.

Our strategy has been to market Steemit in a way that it's attractive. Telling a Nigerian of a business they don't need to invest money, create a great interest at first instant. That's the foundation in which we have been building interest of people here and Nigerians are coming in in numbers.
As we saw this contest, which blends with our vision, we deemed it fit to be part of it. We will continue to do more until everyone in Nigeria knows about Steemit.
