The Beauty of NYSC

National Youth service corps to so many Nigerians is a waste of time, energy and resources, but the fact still remains it is very important especially for people that wish to work, in fact it is now compulsory if one want to get a government job, private companies inclusive.

It is a proof that you are traceable and you have truly served your father land well, it make them see you as a responsible individual that knows what he or she is doing and have a sense of responsibility.

As some see stress, i saw lots of opportunities, trainings, network opportunities et al, NYSC also has lots of programs for corp members which include CDS and SAED, my CDS (community development service ) group is a great group i can never forget, the stress of learning several dance steps, drum lines, the beats, several programs attended for performances...

They are just so numerous to be mentioned, SAED (skill acquisition and Entrepreneurial Development) where i learnt shoe making to couple my tailoring skills, i love what i am experiencing without looking at the stress, because its worth it.

I just want to use this opportunity to encourage other corp members to see good in the scheme and take a great advantage of it.
