I have never been more inspired in my life like the way I am this season.

Hello Steemians,
Seasons greetings....
This season have been very stressful for my team and I. While people are partying and hanging out, we sit at the same spot all day planning on how to make the world around us better through Steemit. Truth is before I joined Steemit, I was wallowing in a world of uncertainty, I had dreams, yeah! Visions, oh yeah! But I didn't know how on earth to achieve them... Until, Steemit came, I can dream as big as I want knowing that I can achieve all with the opportunities Steemit provided, plus a good support system that are really talented and creative

let me not bore you any further with the story of my life.

So Steemit have opened a land of opportunities for us, yeah!!, what can we do to make sure that our creative youths get engaged and make this same honest living that we have been privileged to get.. We came up with steem camp!

Steem Camp

Steem Camp is an empowerment project aimed at promoting the Steem blockchain to creative and talented youths in Africa to eradicate unemployment and poverty.

Highlights of the event

i) Talent hunt: Participants will participate in competitions and will be awarded with prices.

ii) Pageantry: There will be Miss Steem pageant in which winners will be awarded.

iii) Award Night: Awards will be given to people that have contributed positively towards making Steemit a better place.

Brief Description on Ways of participation

i) Registration: Interested contestants will register in the Steem camp website which is currently built by our very own @casweeney

ii)Audition/Seminar: There will be a seminar, teaching and registering people on Steemit, then the contestants will be auditioned.

5 states was chosen for this exercise

iii)Grand finale: The contestants that succeeded in the audition will be camped and tutored in various skills of their choice, after which the pageant competition will take place and awards will be given.

This is what we have planned so far and we are subject to any suggestions and support from individuals and communities.
