Small meet up gathering in KK

Hello stemians!

Is been awhile I didn’t have a meet up with #steemit members and this kk trip is so meaningful that I can catch up with members from Kota Kinabalu.
Last night, few of them had a post mortem discussion about their charity event for San Damiano Kiulu at City Mall’s Starbucks and I did join them for the gathering. Congratulation to the Kota Kinabalu team that they worked hard and had a good response from the support of #steemit members around the globe. Special credit to @veenang, @chanelcalestus and @beverlyjoe who has been doing well at the fundraising and with the support of @myach, #teammalaysia members and Steemit Ambassador @danieldoughty. All I can say is all about teamwork and the team did it well! Congratulation once more!

Welcoming a new member from Kota Kinabalu

Today I had a one to one basic explanation to our new member, @deborahneils. She was introduced by @meizankhan but she don’t have any idea how and what to write or to start and what I explained to her is she need to start with her #introduceyourself post. Write her introduction, what is her job, what is her hobby etc. so that other #steemit members will know her more! Explained about the tag. What is the right tag to use and of course don’t left out #teammalaysia tag as well. How to edit your post and how to insert picture.

Beside that, I invited her in Telegram for Teammalaysia Sabah’s channel and the trail. Explained on how it works for Discord but unfortunately the internet line was low in signal.

Asking her if she like to take pictures and she immediately responded me very fast, YES!!! So I did ask her to install #steepshot application and tell her how it works. Simple description with a photo will do and of course the different is she can tag up to 20 tags. And she was so excited!! Can’t wait for your first post!

We as a community is to help each other. We encourage newbies and share with them what we know. You don’t lose anything and I don’t lose anything too so is a win win situation. Let’s work it together and build our community stronger.
