When steemit gets to pay you more than your job does.

A few weeks back one of my steemit friends (names withheld for purposes of anonymity) resigned from he's job after he's boss disagreed with a salary increment he had applied for. He had written the letter in protest of the meagre pay he had been earning for more than 8 months. He's decision about the pay rise came after 3 months on steemit where he had started getting not less than $50 a week, which is more than $200 a month. An amount which he got in two months as salary at he's former job. He felt he needed to concetrate more on something which brings in more money than the job which pays him a constant amount irrespective of the increase in effort. And the best way to make the decision easy for him was to ask for a salary increment which was matching what he was getting paid on steemit. He's request indeed got denied as he had expected and he gladly quit without giving much thought to it..

This is what is starting to happen to lots of steemians here in the country who are realising they are saving a lot more money by being on steemit than with their jobs. Many believe there is no better way to quit than requesting for a salary increment knowing very well you have nothing to lose as your mind is already made up on quitting your job. Considering what an average job pays here in Uganda, a salary increment to a figure close to what steemit offers is a lot beyond the average increment employers offer to workers which even comes after some substantial work. It only requires dedication to hard work in writing content. The same dedication we give in our every day jobs which are exploiting us. This is why steemit has become more than a social network one just visits to have some break from a particular task. This is a big source of income especially for people that have long been held by financial constraints

This is one of the many testimonies of how much steemit is offering to the public. A massive opportunity for the youth out here in the developing countries. Not only do you earn abundantly from steemit but you get the freedom to choose the best time and place to work. If you choose to work from the beach then let it be, you only need network to access internet. One gets to call all the shots since they have no boss.
