PROMOTING STEEMIT WITH A NEWBIE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PORTHARCOURT IN A GATHERING OF OVER 5000 PEOPLE -

It was an occasion of great joy yesterday at the University of PortHarcourt where graduating medical students were inducted and formally introduced to the Medical society as there practicing licence was given to them, it was a gathering of families, friends and well wishers, over 5000 people in one place, it was also a great opportunity for me to promote Steemit.

It all started from one newbie who loved the concept of Steemit, his name is Karo. Karo followed me for the promotion even as a newbie, I tell you his excitement and zeal was great as I see him as a prospective steemit volunteer promoter like me and we got over 10 prospective newbies including two Photographers because the place was crowded, we succeed in registering only two accounts and we are following up the others as we got their contacts. He was the man behind the camera so his picture wasn't seen but only in the video.

Promoting steemit was fun, I enjoyed myself as always, meeting new people, making new friends and I have joy in the fact that I am introducing people to a community where their value is rewarded for free, at least two people have said thank you to me for introducing them to steemit like @macjervis in this POST and many more will.
